Yoga on the Rocks

Got tickets to Yoga on the Rocks at Red Rocks Amphitheater with some girlfriends. It was at 7 in the morning which made the experience really cool with the sunrise. Don't think you can make it out in the picture but in the distance is the view of downtown Denver.

So many of you already know I began seeing someone a while back. So far so good, we have been having a lot of fun adventures together. Here we are at a Rockies baseball game a few weeks ago.

New Bike

I splurged and got a new bike about a month ago. I had a cheap mountain bike that was not cutting it here in Denver. So far I have been putting a lot of miles on so I think it was a good choice! It's way lighter and easier to maneuver than my old bike. Even did my longest ride ever to Golden and racked up about 38 miles in one day!

Colorado Symphony

Enjoyed a great night out at the Colorado Symphony featuring Christopher Dragon's Classical Top 40. Chris and Erica had tickets they were unable to use and I lucked out. It was a really great show.

Getting Updated!

Trying to get this blog updated. Have been really busy the last few months & Denver is starting to feel like home! This is a video of where I went to see Elizabeth Gilbert, she is an author best know for Eat, Pray, Love. She was at the Paramount Theater and gave a great talk on living a creative life without fear.

Opening Weekend

 It's opening weekend for baseball here in Denver. Yesterday caught my first Rockies game, it was a lot of fun even though they are having a rough start to the season.

Cheesman Park

Spent a lazy Sunday in the park last weekend. Weather was perfect & park was packed with people enjoying the sun.

Broncos Parade

Walked down to the parade Broncos Super Bowl 50 victory parade on my lunch break. They are estimating 1 million people showed up for it. Was definitely a sea of orange. Fun to see but Packers are still my number one! I am really liking Denver, fun to have stuff like this to do working in downtown.

Getting things together...

Today is my day off so I ran back down to IKEA because one of the shelves in the bookcase I bought Saturday was defective. So while I was there I got a tv stand and coffee table. The couch was also a purchase on Saturday, it folds out into a bed. Still have lots to do and organize but getting there.

Went back to Pinche Tacos for my second time and moms first. Super yummy & lots of laughs!

Snoozing in Denver

Made it to Denver yesterday. The truck is unloaded and we are getting everything into place. At a breakfast place this morning called Snooze that's only a few minutes away from my place. Heading to IKEA after to find a couch.
