Snowshoeing

Went out snowshoeing today. Found out it's the best way to wear Ivy out! Snow was up to my knees + even with the snowshoes. 

8 More Days

So I'm sure most of you already know I accepted a position in Denver & will be moving there on January 1st. I am nervous and excited to begin a new adventure. Going to try to start updating my blog again since I will hopefully have lots of new things to blog about. In the mean time I'm going through boxes, packing, & getting rid of a lot of junk.

Star Spangled Shuffle

This morning Clay & I did the Star Spangled Shuffle 5K fun race before the parade with my friend Emily and her kids. The kids biked and we walked & jogged.

Took Ivy out for a jog tonight it was beautiful. Layla had to stay

home :( she's doing good but not up for much distance these days.

Coming along

Our garden is finally starting to get going. Couldn't plant here til June 1st, so I feel like it's behind. Probably very behind by WI standards. Finally getting some heat & warm nights this week.

 Have been having some great weather to get out biking!

Finally got some seeds in the ground this week. Working on a bigger veggie garden too. Will get some pics up when its done.

Snowy Car

Finally...

We finally have some real snow today. Wolf Creek has received 30 inches with another foot expected today. Our forecast if for another few. Was beginning to think it was going to turn into a desert here. 

Colorado River Drive

The second day of our trip we drove along the Colorado river and saw some of the rock art sites. They are right on the side of the road. We also stopped at a site that had dinosaur tracks. It was a very interesting area.

Moab Trip

 

 

 This week we drove up to Moab, UT & visited Arches National Park. Ryan, Grant's brother, came along too. We did some cool hikes and saw a lot of the areas arches & rock formations. There over 2000 know arches in the park.

Valentine's Day Pizza

Had a nice night in for Valentine's Day this year, with yummy homemade pizza.

On the mountain..

First day up this season. Went with a friend from work who used to instruct so I got lots of great pointers. The ski area is finally getting some snow. It was a beautiful bluebird day.
