Yesterday we went to find Christmas Trees with friends. It was very cold out but we did find a great tree. We even saw Santa's Reindeer, just kidding, they were Elk. Pictures of the final product coming soon.
We went on The Polar Express Train out of Durango on Friday. It was about a 1 hour trip to the North Pole to pick up Santa. Clayton loved it & the first thing he said to Santa was "I've been being good," it was really funny.
We had a nice Thanksgiving at Mom & Dads yesterday. The weather was nice & the food was great. Hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving too. Tonight Mom & I are taking Clayton on the Polar Express train in Durango to meet Santa at the North Pole, so more pictures to come!
Lindsey & I went to soak last night at the Overlook Hot Springs. It is relatively new to town, on main and has tubs on the top of the building overlooking town. There are also some indoor pools.
Here is a pic of Layla with Grants dog Ivy. They get along really well together & like to snuggle. Layla is doing well and already 6 years old! I have been really bad about taking pictures lately. I am going to get better. Sunday was Grants birthday & we had a low key day. I made some yummy strawberry cupcakes for him & got him a new knife.
I have to say I am happy to have it start to snow early this year, even though most people are not. After all the drought & fires last year we really need it.
A patient of mine bought me a ticket to the Little Black Dress fundraiser here in Pagosa. We went last night and had fun getting all dressed up. They put on an interesting show, but that's Pagosa for you!
I bought this journal a while back & am loving it! I like to journal but sometimes forget to get around to it. This is a 5 year journal with a question for each day. I am interested to see how my answers change over the 5 year period since you answer the same ones each year. The questions vary but a few examples are "What new activity have you tried?"/"What's your favorite question to ask people?"
I am finally getting around to starting my new & improved blog. I didn't think I would miss it that much but it really kept me in touch with the family. Since I really don't care for posting anything on Facebook for a bunch of people I barely know, I thought I have to start a new blog. So here it goes...
