Kite Flying!

It was really windy today and we went out by Lake Hatcher to try out my new dragon kite. It was pretty cold with all the wind so we didn't stay out long. Haven't flown a kite since I was a kid!



Trip booked...

Booked my trip for Wisconsin today. I will be there May 2nd thru the 6th for Grandpa's big 80th Birthday. Hope the season is a little further ahead than it was when I went last year.

Pot Luck Pasta

Pasta salad that I brought to our pot luck at work last week. It was super yummy and the best part is that Grant made it for me to take. It was a big hit.

Playdate

Picked Clay up last week after work to hangout with my co-workers daughter. While I was with Clay I asked if he thought I should ever have kids. He said, "Yeah, but if we ever get to many you can have one of ours." Always fun hearing the wisdom of a child.

Spider Roll

Met Mom & Dad in Durango on Monday. Decided to introduce them to Sushi for their first time ever at East by Southwest which has sushi and fusion dishes. Mom seemed to enjoy, don't know if Dad was totally sold by the experience. Mom's favorite was the soft shell crab roll shown above. 

Snow Day

Went up to Wolf Creek the weekend before last. The snow was great. Mom & Lindsey hung out in the lodge while Lindsey's boyfriend, Aaron, who recently moved out from Wisconsin skied with me. Ready to do some more snowboarding just have to make the time to get up there.
